Parental Irresponsibility....
I think in Catworld I must be the cruellest form of parent. My cats have discovered the mind altering effects of the evil weed - Catnip... and I have to admit that I encourage them to partake because the results are so funny. I guess it's as bad as encouraging your kids to smoke dope...

All I can say: you are not alone! My cats used to get 'stoned' quite a bit too, and it was very entertaining. Any attempt to restrict their access to the 'goods' failed as they learned how to open any container quite quick... And both my darlings used to thank me by becoming very cuddly when hung over... Yep, that was fun. No guilt here. Almost.
Three of my cats are not the least bit interested in catnip, and the fourth adores it! He's a large and dignified Maine Coon--until he gets a whiff of his favorite treat! Does make it hard to knit, though, when laughing at his tipsy antics!
I am gonna try some !! I need it right now ..mind you I am not sure that look suggests calm and a stress free day ( will they go cold Turkey? ).
